CoEmp Wins 2006 White House Closing the Circle Award

Concession Environmental Management Program (CoEMP) is a Winnerof the 2006 White House Closing the Circle Award
The Office of the Federal Environmental Executive recently announced that the CoEMP was among the 20 winners selected from over 200 nominations to receive the 2006 White House Closing the Circle (CTC) Awards. The CTC Awards honor programs and individuals in the Federal government for environmental stewardship. The award will be presented on June 12, 2006 in a White House ceremony to recognize the CoEMP for its efforts in developing a program to “green” concession contracts with goals of protecting the environment, encouraging sustainability and preventing pollution.
