2007 NPS Environmental Achievement Award Recognizes Four Concessioners for Outstanding Environmental Successes
Four concession operations have been recognized for their environmental programs by the 2007 National Park Service (NPS) Environmental Achievement Award (Award) Committee. The concessioners were nominated under the Award’s Partner category with concurrence from the respective park superintendents. The Partner category provides a mechanism for recognizing concessioner environmental programs and highlighting concessioners that demonstrated a commitment to environmental management and stewardship during the previous fiscal year.
Xanterra Parks & Resorts (Xanterra), providing food and beverage services, lodging, gas service, campgrounds, and other visitor services to Crater Lake National Park visitors was selected as a Winner of a 2007 NPS Environmental Achievement Award.
