Call for Nominations!!
The National Park Service accepted nominations for the 2007 NPS Environmental Achievement Awards (EAA) through April 27, 2007. The EAA offers an opportunity for concessioners to be recognized for their achievements in one of the following categories:
- Environmental Management Systems
- Environmental Stewardship
- Environmental (“Green”) Purchasing
- Minimizing Petroleum Use in Transportation
- Recycling
- Sustainable Design/Green Building
- Sustainable Energy Practices
- Waste/Pollution Prevention.
