Amendment #3 Solicitation of a Business Opportunity to operate a full service marina at Katherine Landing on Lake Mohave within Lake Mead National Recreation Area

The National Park Service (NPS) has released a prospectus for proposals in response to a Business Opportunity to operate a full service marina, including moorage, boat rentals, food and beverage, retail, fuel, campground, and other related services at Katherine Landing within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The NPS issued this prospectus beginning March 15, 2017, under the terms described in the prospectus. The Director, pursuant to 36 C.F.R. Part 51, has determined the existing Concessioner is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. Any proposal must be received by 4:00 p.m. (PT) July 13, 2017. Please send proposals to:

If you choose to retrieve a copy of the Prospectus from the NPS website, please notify Kimberley Gagliolo, Concessions Management Specialist so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence.

A site visit of the concession facilities will be held on March 29, 2017. This site visit is an opportunity for all interested parties to tour the Concession Facilities, including back of the house operations. Attendance is encouraged as this will be the ONLY site visit provided by the NPS. You must sign up in advance to attend the site visit by emailing Kimberley Gagliolo, no later than March 28, 2017, to receive additional information regarding the time and meeting location. The email should include the following information: name of company or organization, a list of ALL attendees (full name), name of the primary contact, including email address and phone number.
