Crater Lake National Park Announces Pre-Solicitation
The National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Prospectus soliciting proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate lodging, food and beverage, retail, campground, boat tours, and other visitor services at Crater Lake National Park and Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve. The NPS has posted a Pre-Solicitation Summary of the Business Opportunity for Draft Concession Contract No. CC-CRLA004-18, which is attached below.
In order to provide interested parties enough time to make necessary arrangements, the NPS is providing advance notice of a two-day site visit scheduled for August 29-30, 2017. This site visit is an opportunity for all interested parties to tour the concession areas. Attendance is not required in order to submit a proposal, however attendance is encouraged as this will be the ONLY site visit provided by the NPS..
You must sign up in advance to attend the site visit by emailng Sean Denniston no later than August 21, 2017 to reserve a spot. The email must include the name of entity, a list of all attendees, and name of primary contact, including phone number. At that time you will receive further instructions regarding the site visit. Site visit attendees are responsible for their own lodging, meals, and incidentals, and are advised to make lodging reservations well in advance of the site visit date.
