Find Your Park Campaign Toolkit Released

In preparation for the upcoming NPS centennial in 2016, the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation are launching a nationwide public engagement campaign to celebrate the next hundred years of our national parks.

We are thrilled that our concessioners will be able to join us as we work toward connecting with and creating the next generation of park visitors, supporters, and advocates.

As we continue to plan to a national campaign using celebrity talent, NPS ambassadors, premier sponsorships, and media activations, we look to you to make this campaign truly come to life. With that in mind, NPS and NPS are pleased to announce the availability of the first Find Your Park campaign toolkit, containing campaign information, logos, style guides, a timeline of key events, and additional guidance for you to participate in the campaign and bolster it at the local level. The toolkit contains detailed guidance on using the Find Your Park and NPS Centennial logos for promotional and communications purposes as well as information on licensing the logos for commercial use.

These materials are provided so you can plan and prepare to launch the Find Your Park campaign together with the National Park Service in spring 2015. While we are excited to be providing you with these tools - in hopes of allowing you to better prepare your marketing and communications plans leading up to the campaign launch - please do not display the Find Your Park logo on public documents, websites, social media, or any other materials visible to the public before the launch of the campaign. The Find Your Park campaign will be most powerful if we launch together!

The toolkit is available at the Next Century for Parks website in the "Tools" section. Users must register with the website in order to access the toolkit.

The toolkit will be refreshed twice in 2015 with additional tools and updated content. To learn more about the Find Your Park campaign toolkit, concessioners are invited to participate in a webinar on November 20th, 3-4pm eastern. Click here to register.

Overall, this toolkit is meant to educate you on the national public engagement campaign, but also to serve as inspiration for you to help to amplify this campaign through your organization. We are thrilled to be able to share this toolkit with you so that together we can create a full-blown movement around Find Your Park.

Concessioners are encouraged to collaborate closely with your park(s) on the Find Your Park campaign and centennial-related events and programs. If you have further questions about the campaign toolkit or specific logo use, please see the Contacts section of the toolkit or contact your park liaison.
